I found the practice of Yoga in my early 20's when it came recommended from a friend. The initial pull towards giving it a go was definitely the physical aspects like becoming more flexible, stronger and as a form of detoxing. Little did I know that the practice of yoga was going to have a tremendous impact on my mind, my health, and my life.
Around the years of leaving school and entering the workforce, I was pretty unsure with where I wanted to take my life. School was a place to hang out and get up to trouble, weekends were for playing sport and partying. Upon leaving school I went to work with a family member in the construction industry as a bricklayers labourer. I knew it wasn't a job for life but at the time it paid the bills, it allowed me to have as much fun as I wanted on the weekends and overseas while travelling.
