This retreat has been intentionally created as a chance to ground, connect, and awaken. In early May, when the sun is warm and the ocean is inviting, we gather in beautiful Hiriketiya Beach for five nourishing nights together.
We’ll settle into a coastal sanctuary and move through yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound healing sessions, and spacious rest—an experience designed to restore you from the inside out. It’s a week to slow down, reconnect, and return to yourself.
I’ve done everything I can to make this experience meaningful, affordable, and accessible—and I’d truly love for you to be part of it.

Escape to the tropical haven of Hiriketiya, Sri Lanka, where lush palm-lined shores meet gentle turquoise waves. This serene bay is a surfer's paradise and a sanctuary for those seeking relaxation, connection, and inspiration. Known for its bohemian charm, vibrant community, and fusion of authentic Sri Lankan culture with modern wellness vibes, Hiriketiya offers the perfect backdrop for a transformative yoga retreat. Immerse yourself in nature, savor nourishing cuisine, and find harmony between adventure and stillness in this magical destination.
Nestled just a short walk from the shoreline of Hiriketiya Bay, our retreat home is a peaceful coastal sanctuary designed for ease and connection. Thoughtfully styled rooms and open-air communal spaces create an atmosphere perfectly suited to a yoga retreat. It’s a place where simplicity meets comfort — where you can exhale, settle in, and truly switch off.
Rest comes naturally here. Lounge by the pool surrounded by lush greenery, or cool off with a refreshing dip after practice. The tranquil outdoor spaces offer the perfect environment for stillness, reflection, and gentle rejuvenation.
Fuel your days with fresh, nourishing Sri Lankan-inspired meals and vibrant café-style dishes from nearby eateries. Whether you’re sipping a morning coconut by the beach, enjoying a colourful bowl post-yoga, or sharing dinner with the group as the sun fades, each meal is an opportunity to connect, unwind, and savour the flavours of coastal Sri Lanka. “I’ve joined two of Bobby Hancock’s retreats — one in Japan and the latest in sunny Hiriketiya, Sri Lanka. With just 12 of us, the group felt like a wholesome, supportive community. We shared nourishing meals, practiced yoga and meditation daily, and deepened our connection to the practice in such a meaningful way.
Bobby’s teaching is masterful: thoughtfully paced, varied, and deeply grounding, with meditation, flow, yin, and breathwork woven throughout the week. There was also plenty of free time to relax, explore, surf, journal, or simply enjoy the beach and villa.
From chanting in a sacred cave monastery to kayaking through tropical rain, the experience was rich, memorable, and full of joy. I left feeling stronger, clearer, and more at peace.
Would I go again? Just give me the dates — I’m there.”
